Welcoming you to a brand new community event in Berkhamsted.
A transformational experience of devotional singing with songs & chants from around the world to inspire love and connection.
Kirtan is an ancient form of interactive music and meditation originating in Southern India. In Kirtan, we come together to share uplifting songs, fostering a deeper connection with our hearts and our higher selves. This practice often takes the form of a simple call-and-response style of singing, making it accessible to everyone and creating a profound sense of community.
You don’t need to be a singer or a yogi to participate; just come as you are and be open to the transformative journey it offers.
Equally ancient is the traditions of Ceremonial Cacao. Indigenous tribes in the Americas have long revered Cacao as a sacred plant with healing properties. Beyond its use in ceremonial settings, Cacao is celebrated for its medicinal benefits in supporting heart health and circulation. Given its heart-opening qualities, Cacao beautifully complements meditation, yoga, dance, and therapy, enhancing our connection with others and ourselves. What a perfect pairing it makes for our heart-centered songs!
Wear something comfortable, warm and supportive to sing and move in. Songs will be offered from different places around the world, including Sanskrit, English, Spanish and more.
