Event description
In the past 20 years we have seen more focused support to those with a learning disability or Autism, but what more is needed?

About this Event

A lot has changed since a learning disability was considered clumsy child syndrome, or do some people still consider Autism and learning disabilities something similar?

In this CAD TALK we will talk about what the landscape holds for this area, what support is out there for both adults and children, and if there is any correlation between unrecognised diagnoses & youth crime?

Guests to be confirmed nearer the date.

All our CAD TALKS are recorded, so if you don't want to show your face please turn off your camera, please also try to refrain from smoking on screen or we may have to cover you with a Quit Squad logo.

CAD TALKS are a partnership between the Community Asset & Development Team of LSCFT (NHS) & Wellbeing Lancashire.

Our hosts for this talk will be Jacqueline Robinson from Wellbeing Lancashire/Lancashire BME Network, & Elliot Evans from Connect My Community NHS (CAD)
