Cadenza's annual festive mix of old and new carols, and a chance for you to join in too! Conducted by our Interim Musical Director - Libby Crabtree.

Cadenza offers another wide-ranging programme of Christmas music old and new, from British favourites such as Rutter and Chillcott through to international music by Ola Gjeilo and Poulenc's beautiful Quatre Motets pour le temps de Noel, and including a wonderful 8-part arrangement of Lux Aeternae to the tune of Elgar's Nimrod.

We are also delighted to welcome back our Fringe 2017 baritone soloist, the talented Arthur Bruce, alongside cellist Lindsay Martindale as our Special Guests, and to welcome our accompanist for the evening, Morley Whitehead.

Copies of our critically acclaimed Christmas CD, Bright Star - Cadenza at Christmas, several tracks of which have been given play time on both BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM, will also be on sale during the interval and after the concert. Though you don't have to wait till then - buy it online now and be well ahead of the crowd with your Christmas shopping!
