🌟 Interested in Connecting with Young People?
Did you know that hundreds of young people across Devon, aged 12 to 18, are proud cadets in the Army, Sea, Air, and Royal Marine forces? Being a cadet can be life-changing — and chaplains play a vital role in supporting their journey.
Despite the remarkable opportunities offered by cadet chaplaincy, there’s currently a shortage of chaplains in every corps. At the same time, there’s an exciting national initiative to grow the number of cadets by a third — making this the perfect moment to get involved.
🙏 Why Chaplaincy Matters
Cadet chaplaincy is deeply rewarding. It offers a unique chance to provide regular pastoral and spiritual care to young people, whether you have an hour a month to give or feel called to be more involved.
Clergy are warmly welcomed in all corps, and licensed lay ministers can serve in selected corps. This is a flexible and meaningful way to make a lasting impact.
