About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Join us at this special Café Concert in the Bradenstoke Hall of St Donat's Castle in aid of Tenovus.

The Student Cafe Concert on 30th May will be the culmination of a Pianothon in aid of the Cancer Charity Tenovus which is taking place this year at UWC Atlantic. In conjunction with Professor Malcolm Mason and the Penarth Piano Group, students and staff will be raising money for this worthy cause by playing the piano continually all day. Join us at 4pm when the pianists will be joined by our talented instrumental and singing students for an eclectic and exciting Grand Finale.

Our students come from over 90 different countries; some of them masters of their instruments, and others complete beginners, but all of them would welcome, and benefit from, a supportive and appreciative audience.

Concerts typically last for around 45 minutes and include a serving of tea, coffee and a biscuit - all included in the ticket price. Any profits go towards UWC Atlantic, a charity making education a force to unite people and nations for peace and a sustainable future.
