Our mini monthly meet-up for homeworkers, freelancers and small businesses. Come along to an informal morning of brilliant coffee, tasty butties and a bit of business!
We don't believe in the hard sell at Cafe Create, just excellent expert advice tailored to your business in a relaxed, non-selling environment. It's a chance for tiny teams and lone workers to get out of the office (or spare room!), mingle and meet new contacts.
For March, we're taking Cafe Create on the road again, this time to the wonderful creative co-working space in Hebden Bridge called The Egg Factory. The Egg Factory launches on 6th March and our Cafe Create will offer an exclusive sneak peek at the facilities before the offical opening. The co-working space for creative and artistic types was founded after a succesful crowd-funding campaign raised the dosh to get the project off the ground. What's more, it's currently home to the wonderful Made In The Valley makers collective and boasts over 20 members as well as running regular open workshops in areas such as screen printing, sewing and embroidery and badge-making. For this month's Cafe Create the team behind the Egg Factory will be revealing their top tips for succesfully raising money through crowdfunding for your creative projects from the beautifully small to the overwhelmingly ambitious so pop all your eggs in our basket this month and get on down to The Egg Factory.
If you like the sound of Cafe Create, come along - it's open to all creative and digital industry professionals, but as places are limited and this is a 'mini-meet-up' please only register if you know you'll come along and you are a mini business!
Cafe Create runs on the first Wednesday of every month from 9:00-10:30 at various locations throughout Calderdale, so check our Creative Calderdale organiser page regularly for the latest information.
