Come and join us in this Season of Creation for a joint venture between CAFOD and the Laudato Si' Centre to celebrate CAFOD's Harvest Family Fast Day. Join Simon, Kathryn and Emily as they guide you to pause and reflect on the meaning of Family Fast Day in the Season of Creation. We will come together to think about the Season of Creation, Family Fast Day and how they connect in this Jubilee year of Hope. We will be called to reset, renew our faith and commit to building a fairer world where all people may flourish.
Simon, Kathryn and Emily will lead you through the morning using CAFOD's Jubilee Guide resources and the Laudato Si' Centre's beautiful setting.
A vegetarian soup and bread roll will be provided for a shared lunch. This event is free of charge, but donations of any size are welcome.

Quotes from our previous event:
I enjoyed taking time to reflect on the meaning of this Jubilee year and its message for us to be pilgrims of hope, understanding what that means for the world and us as individuals. I found talking with other volunteers about our own experiences and perspectives on the themes of the Jubilee to be very rewarding, alongside spending time at the Laudato Si Centre, which helped me to reflect on the beauty of nature and God’s creation.

Thanks to you & Kathryn for a great day. It was a joy to be with you all. It’s nice to get away from emails and meetings and join with supporters and also be in nature. Was really restorative!
Thank you Simon, Kathryn and Emily for organising and presenting such a lovely and inspiring day. The Laudato Si’ Centre is an extraordinary place and a unique symbol of hope for us all.
