On Wednesday 3rd September CAFRE and Teagasc are hosting an open day at the CAFRE Hill Farm Centre. During the day, visitors will gain an understanding of how integrated upland management delivers outcomes for everyone. The speakers will be showcasing the achievability of ecosystem services delivery at CAFRE.
Tours will leave the CAFRE Hill Farm Centre every 30 minutes beginning at 10 a.m. with the last tour leaving at 4 p.m.
The tour will take approximately 3 1/2 hours to complete and will be guided on buses with participants getting off the bus at 4 points to hear from different speakers. There will be minimal walking required.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour time.
There will also be a range of organisations exibiting displays while you wait for your tour to begin.
Please dress for the weather, but note it can be colder and windier when on the hill. Warm outdoor clothing is advised.
