CBNSC are proud to be hosting a day of races starting off with our Cairngorm Hill Climb on Sunday 15th September 2019 in the morning and the Glenmore Lodge Time Trial in the afternoon. All information regarding both races is below. Tickets must be purchased for both events.
There will be NO ENTRY on the day. As it is a full weekend of racing with races in Huntly on the 14th of September and then our races on the Sunday, entries will close at midnight on Wednesday 11th of September 2019 to allow for seeding and any changes that need to be made. On the day of the event, please note sign in and bib collection closes half an hour before race.

Time may be delayed slightly for the Super Vet, Vet, Senior U18 and U16 race as we need to wait for the Stagecoach bus to pass Scheduled at 09:28.
All races start at the Hayfield, Novice finish point is the bridge (1.3km), U12 and U14 finish point is the forestry track (2.25km), U16 & U18 finish point is the Ciste car park (3.1km) and Super Vet, Vet and Senior finish is the Cas car park (5.4km). We are running on a very tight schedule and it is very important that entrants arrive on time and are ready to start at the scheduled time. Failure to do so may result in you not being allowed to compete and no refund will be given.
The Novice category is open to newer skiers, HOWEVER as the race is held on an open road, skiers must be able to fully control their direction and stay to the left side of the road. If in doubt speak to your club coach or the race organiser before entering.
• Skis must meet FIS roller ski rules as summarised below
o Must be commercially available
o Maximum wheel diameter 100mm
o Wheels must have a minimum of 530mm between centres of axles
o Ski poles must be used
o Skis must be fitted with cross-country bindings
Prize giving will take place after the race back down on the Hayfield. Should weather be bad we will relocate to Glenmore Lodge for prize giving.

Seniors, Vets & Super Vets – 10 Laps of Range and Lawn Loops
All skiers will be racing on matched Marwe 610 rollerskis, which are kindly being lent from Huntly Nordic Ski Club. Both Salomon and NNN bindings will be available. NOTE races have been shortened from last year following feedback and considering this could be the 3rd race in 2 days for some skiers.
