Join us for an exciting online training for women in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths).

About this event

You are invited to attend 2 free online training sessions that promotes inclusivity and diversity in STEAM and boosts women’s confidence and employability in the sector. This training opportunity is focused on awareness of your soft skills to help you maximise your talents and make effective plans to advance in your professional life.

During the course you will have a chance to:

  • Learn how to develop skills relating to working in STEAM including self-efficacy, confidence, problem solving, networking etc.
  • Engage in activities to develop and improve employability skills, including negotiation and communication and learn how to maximise your networks.
  • Progress your career and understand your personal branding.
  • Develop your entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Meet with like-minded people, share stories and develop your networks further.


Experienced Trainer and Coach Michele Lockwood-Edwards (B.A. Hons., P.G.C.E. Cantab., M.Sc. M.Sc, MCIPD, FHEA), who has over 20 years experience working in learning and development, action learning, coaching, mentoring and consultancy.

Who is this event for?

This programme is fully funded by the European Union. Eligible participants are those women who have a study or work experience in STEAM and live in a country different to the one they were born in.
