Incredibly 366 people signed up for the last “Calling the Tribes Together” prayer event. We have received many messages from people who were deeply appreciative of the opportunity to connect with others on the other side of the UK and on the other side of the political spectrum. It would appear that God worked mysteriously through through the randomisation of the breakout rooms, with everyone reporting that their room of 6 contained someone from most parties and none! New relationships began and old ones were rekindled. And a lot of prayer happened! We left inspired to be salt and light in the public square at a time when tribalism is reaching unprecedented levels and our nation is facing huge challenges. So by popular demand we are holding another event in March.

This event has sprung out of the surprising unity that the leaders of the Liberal Democrat Christian Forum, Conservative Christian Fellowship and Christians on the Left have found in recent years, agreeing to disagree well and building meaniginsful relations. Based on these core relationships and also those with Christians within the Greens, SNP, Plaid Cymru, Brexit, the Northern Irish parties and independents, we are asking you to put kingdom before tribe to pray together for our nation.
