About this event
Release stress, restore balance, and reconnect with your body’s wisdom.
Anxiety, stress, trauma, and overwhelm are not just mental states — they imprint on your body. We can’t think our way out of them. Release and healing happen when we bring the body into the process.
Calm in Motion is a 3-week journey using TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) and embodied practices to gently release deep muscular tension, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with your body’s natural state of calm.
In three guided sessions, you’ll learn how to activate your body’s natural tremor mechanism — a safe, neurogenic “shaking” process that helps discharge stress and tension. Each week we’ll combine TRE with grounding, resourcing, and self-regulation tools, giving you both the practice and the understanding to continue safely on your own.
This course is a deeper dive that allows space for practice, reflection, and integration. You’ll be supported to move at your own pace, while building confidence and independence in your TRE practice.
By the end, you’ll have your own TRE practice and embodied strategies to support ongoing calm, resilience, and connection.

Practical Details
📍 Venue
The course will be held at OMUK in King’s Cross — a beautiful, serene space that offers a calm environment for learning and practice.
Accessibility
Please note: the venue does not have accessible toilets. The toilets are reached via a set of steep, spiral stairs, so a certain level of physical mobility is required to access them. We want you to be aware of this in advance so you can plan with comfort in mind.
📅 Dates: Wednesdays: 24th September, 01st October, 08th October
⏰ Time: 6:30 - 8:00 pm
💷 Investment: £85 for the whole course (includes 3 guided sessions + take-home resources)
👕 What to bring: Comfortable clothes you can move in, socks and jumper for integration part of the session, water bottle, journal. Mats and blankets will be provided - but you can bring your own if that is your preference.
TRE® often has a profound therapeutic effect, but it is not therapy itself. Learning TRE in a group setting may not be suitable for those experiencing PTSD, complex PTSD, or for individuals who currently find self-regulation very challenging and become easily overwhelmed.
If you’re unsure whether this course is right for you, please contact the facilitator before booking to discuss your situation and help you decide what feels most supportive.
About the Facilitator
This course is led by Lena, a somatic practitioner with a rich background in mind-body approaches. She is a certified TRE® provider and supervisor, a Biodynamic Massage Therapist, and a Mind-Body Eating Coach. She is also completing her diploma in Biodynamic Body Psychotherapy.
Lena brings together these modalities to support people in releasing stress, regulating their nervous systems, and reconnecting with their body’s natural wisdom. Her approach is gentle, grounded, and deeply human — creating safe spaces where people can explore, at their own pace, what it means to feel more at ease in body and mind.
Through both one-to-one work and group courses, Lena has guided many clients in finding relief from tension and stress, and in discovering more freedom, resilience, and connection within themselves.
