Do I need any experience of wild swimming/cold water?

No, this is suitable for beginners and those fairly new to cold water therapy.

What do I need to bring to the lake?

You will need a swimming costume/swim trunks, towel, warm clothes (lots of layers!) & flipflops/sliders. Swim shoes or neoprene swim socks are recommended.

Do I need to attend both parts of the event?

Yes, you need to attend or watch the workshop first then come to the cold dip.

Will we be swimming or just getting into the water?

This is a cold water immersion experience, so a dip rather than a swim. You do need to be able to swim to attend, however the lake is fairly shallow and you won't be swimming any distance so you don't need to be a particularly strong swimmer.
