Camberwell in the Green walk
Sat 22 April 2017, 10:15 – 12:45 BST
Join us for a walk through Camberwell’s parks, green spaces and community gardens.
Explore London’s hidden green spaces and how gardeners are transforming the South London environment. Parks such as Camberwell Green, Burgess Park and Lucas Gardens are not only great for our physical wellbeing, but also have fascinating histories. Hear about local figures who protect their nature and landscapes, through guerilla gardnening and bee hives. Visit Loughborough Farm, a community food growing project in Loughborough Junction.
This walk is suitable for all level and abilities.
Cost: free/voluntary donation
