About YPMH

The William Templeton Foundation for Young People’s Mental Health (YPMH) is a charitable foundation working to improve the lives of young people by facilitating innovative approaches to resolve mental health conditions.

Our Projects for 2020

Our projects for 2020 are to engage with researchers, innovation specialists, clinical practitioners and young people and their families to:

  • Configure leading innovation management methods, researched by the University of Cambridge Centre for Technology Management, to address complex health conditions, such as depression in adolescents.
  • ‘Join up’ leading scientific research to understand better the pathways by which depression develops, and to begin to identify opportunities for early identification, diagnosis, treatment and, ultimately, prevention.
  • Build a Community of Interest to enable researchers, innovators, clinical practitioners, industry and young people and their carers to collaborate in generating innovations to address adolescent depression.
