Practical steps you can take to reduce your carbon footprint and help Cambridge to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2030

About this event

Do you want to reduce your own carbon footprint but don’t know where to start? Or perhaps you’ve already made steps to live a more sustainable lifestyle and want to find out what more you can do?

This free event is one of many events taking place as part of the Cambridge Zero Climate Change Festival 2021. The event will give you lots of information and tips on practical steps that you can take to reduce your carbon footprint and play your part in helping the city of Cambridge to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2030.

The event will cover a range of different ways that you can take action including:

• Pathways to zero carbon energy at home

• Climate Diets - how to take action by eating a planet-friendly diet

• Making a personal pledge to reduce your carbon footprint through the Cambridge Climate Charter

You’ll get to hear from some brilliant speakers from local community organisations from Cambridge:

Cambridge Carbon Footprint – an organisation who are raising awareness of climate change issues and supporting people to move to low-carbon living

Cambridge Sustainable Food – a partnership of community organisations in Cambridge and the surrounding villages working to promote a vibrant local food system along the supply chain and in communities to achieve healthy and sustainable food for everyone.

Transition Cambridge – a local community organisation helping to build a stronger, more versatile community .
