About this Event
Have a look at some of the key research taking place at Cambridge University. Our researchers have been on a three months’ creative adventure over the summer of 2020 to reach out to new audiences and to tell the story of their research through a collaborative work with creatives and media students.
This event is a showcase of the short film, Justice in Ancient Egypt, created through the collaboration between researcher, Dr Alexandre Loktionov, and creative media student, Skye Putwain.
The Ancient Egyptian justice system is perhaps the oldest in the world. The short film provides an overview of how it evolved from its earliest days, taking you on a journey from the Old Egyptian Kingdom (starting around 2700BCE) to the New Kingdom (ending around 1100BCE).
Tune in on 3 April at 1 pm for the showcase of this short film, as well as an opportunity to hear Dr Alexandre Loktionov and Skye Putwain talk about the research, their collaboration and experiences during the creative process.
Throughout the event you will have the opportunity to ask questions over our Twitter account @CamUniEngage
