The Cambridge Cancer Centre Early Detection Programme will hold its annual symposium on Monday January 16th 2017. This is an opportunity for researchers across Cambridge and further afield who are engaged with our programme to showcase their latest research and engage in key debates related to early detection.
Professor Mark Krasnow of Stanford University School of Medicine, will give the keynote address and updates on the progress of the research within the Cambridge Early Detection Programme will also be given. Professor Richard Gilbertson and Professor Stephen John will debate the motion Early Detection will do more harm than good in which the audience are warmly invited to participate
Lauren Kerr, Early Detection Programme Manager at Cancer Research UK will give the concluding remarks to the symposium, followed by a poster session and drinks.
