Cambridge: EIB dept. Movie Night
Wed 12 October 2016, 18:00 – 20:30 BST
Thanks to course leader funding achieved by course leader for BSc Business Economics, Imko Meyenburg, you are invited to an exclusive screening of
‘The Big Short’
‘Four denizens in the world of high-finance predict the credit and housing bubble collapse of the mid-2000s, and decide to take on the big banks for their greed and lack of foresight’. (www.imdb.com/title/tt1596363/)
Come join us for a social pizza, popcorn and move night to watch ‘The Big Short’ nominated for five Academy Awards, winning the Oscar award in the category of Best Adapted Screenplay.
This is an extra curricula social event to look at economics and career aspects for BSc Business Economics students over some pizza and a highly acclaimed movie. We will look at the 2007/08 financial crisis in a more informal environment, with an introduction from Course Leader and Economics lecturer Imko Meyenburg and a discussion following the movie.
This event takes place: Wednesday, 12/10/16
Location: LAB 006
Please book which pizza preference you have, so we can ensure we have enough food for all on the night! Soft drinks and snacks will also be provided to attendees.
If you have any special dietary requirements please contact Nicola.firstname.lastname@example.org once you have booked your free place to this event.
