We are running this course for the sixth time on 24th March 2017 at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. This intensive one-day simulation course was developed to teach required ENT skills to junior medical staff. It is suitable for junior doctors and nursing staff working in ENT, A&E, GP and those who cross-cover ENT whilst on-call.
Those who attend can expect to learn skills which will prepare them for the everday and emergency care of ENT patients:
Small group practical skill training e.g. ear examination, bedside hearing test, flexible nasendoscopy, microscope skills, how to pack a nose.
Small group emergency scenario simulation of common A&E and ward emergencies.
Focused lectures on common presentations, perioperative care and paediatric ENT.
The course costs £40 which includes refreshments and a free textbook.
