Location: Cambridge Room in the Grafton Centre
This will be a working meeting, but feel free to drop in as you are available.
During the first hour, we will plan a series of panel discussions, each focused on an aspect of resilience in Cambridge. The idea behind these discussions is to convene a panel of experts to present and invite local councillors and the public to ask questions. The results of there panels will be written up into a report with the intention that it will inform the council's strategy documents and Local Plan. During this planning session, we will brainstorm topics and experts.
During the second hour, we will focus on expanding the Cambridge Resilience Web for disaster response, building on the ideas suggested during "Let's Talk About a Resilient Cambridge". We will create a tag for organisations focused on disaster response, and begin to talk about how we could implement the local hubs idea -- hyperlocal webs of neighbourhood connection that would provide a first point of call for help during a disaster.
