We offer a variety of tours to suit everyone. Whether you're a local looking for a fresh perspective or a visitor wanting more than a map, we’ve got a route for you. Cambridge Running Tours will go the extra mile to ensure that you have an experience you won't forget. 👣
These tickets are for the Run the Cam Route:
The river Cam not only gives Cambridge its name, but arguably helps define the city's personality. After all, Cambridge is famous for its rowing and punting, two great traditions practised to this day. Mostly following the River Cam, but weaving in and out of the City Centre, this route allows you to see many of the main sites in the City Centre and the Backs route, before heading along the river for a chance to escape into the countryside. You will see some of the most peaceful scenes in Cambridge - plenty of lovely architecture, cafes, pubs, punters and rowers on the Cam, and possibly cows in the meadows! The route is about 6.5km and you can expect to spend 45 minutes to an hour on the tour.

Wear clothing that you would normally run in. Ensure that you wear comfortable running trainers which will be able to handle multiple surfaces including cobbled streets, especially if wet. Come prepared to deal with the weather, both as forecast and should unexpected changes happen.
You don't need to bring anything other than yourselves. You may also want to bring a small bag which you can run with, or a running belt, with valuables, phone (for photos!), and perhaps water and an extra layer if you need.
If you've not heard otherwise, assume we're still good to go. Our tours will almost always run regardless of the weather, as long as you are happy. In the extremely unlikely event that a tour needs to be cancelled, we will let you know as soon as possible, as long as
