@binaryheadache will be presenting the 1st of a two-part talk titled "Basic Assembly for Reverse Engineering". This is the primer for his 2nd part of the talk, but we'll keep the suspense going and won't be disclosing any more details on this just yet ;-)
We also plan to have a beginner/intermediate CTF that'll be running in the background, so if you want to get involved you'll need to bring a laptop (Windows/Linux/Mac) that you have admin/root privileges on and has networking capability. That's it!
Come and join us for the 2nd run of ‘CamSec’ a new monthly meet-up in Cambridge, UK to discuss anything and everything in IT security. We’re planning on running these on the last Thursday of the month with the next being on Thursday October 27th.
The idea; a get together to share ideas, knowledge and war stories with the overall aim of creating a local group for like minded individuals to meet on a regular monthly basis.
In each meeting we aim to have 1 - 2 presentations lasting for 30 - 45 mins each in which anything and everything can be discussed, i.e. application, infrastructure, mobile, software, hardware security (and insecurities) etc. We also aim to occasionally host Capture the Flag events and Workshops during the meets as and when something 'funky' presents itself.
