We are pleased to announce our third Cambridge Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry (MS) Meeting will be held on Thursday 18th September at ~12-5pm at the The Discovery Centre (DISC) - AstraZeneca, Addenbrookes. This meeting will feature talks, posters, and networking for both academics and companies in and around Cambridge.

Inspired by the format of The London Biological Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group (http://lbmsdg.org/) and organised by the founder of The London Proteomics Discussion Group (www.londonproteomics.co.uk), this meeting will be a gathering of experts, users and prospective users of proteomics and biological MS in and around Cambridge.

Our aim is to build a network that raises the profile of proteomics and MS technologies in Cambridge, while informing and enabling new users to help grow the community, see our website for more information.

The meeting is free to attend thanks to our many sponsors, which include Thermo Fisher Scientific, Evosep, Bicycle Therapeutics, ROMIL, ATG Scientific, ACX Instruments, Global Proteomics and Thorpe Scientific, and support from the British Society for Proteome Research, the Babraham Institute and Babraham Research Campus.

The final programme will be relased closer to the event, and will feature talks from leading academic and industry experts and groups in and around the Cambridge area, alongside several networking sessions.

Our typical events feature: 6-7 speakers, ~20 posters, and 5 networking sessions with 130-160 attendees from ~60 organisations across the Cambridge area and beyond. The next event will also feature:

Talks about current research taking place in and around the Cambridge area
A free lunch, networking refreshments, and post-meeting food and refreshments
Plans for a interactive pre-meeting workshop
An informal poster session
The opportunity to network with >100 local proteomics/MS scientists
The chance to help shape the future of these sessions, and special interest groups
