This talk explores how journalists cover protest movements with special reference to Hong Kong and asks whether their coverage adequately serves readers and listeners as well as the participants.

Speaker bio:

Stephen Vines is journalist and author who spent over three decades based in Hong Kong where he also ran a number of businesses. He is currently a board member of Hong Kong Media Overseas.
