About this event
Details
Since 2012 we've been holding space for disabled people to gather, to resource each other and the church. It's a partnership between St Martin in the Fields and Inclusive Church.Like the prophet Ezekiel, disabled people can feel overwhelmed bythe places we inhabit. Surrounded by bones - by the difficulties of life and by the hostility and injustice of our culture - we can easily lose hope. But God asks us the question, “Can these bones live?” Can we believe that hope will take root and new life grow?A weekend of events exploring experience of wilderness, faith, and how hope grows.
Contributors
The weekend's contributors include: Eleanor Dewar, Lamar Hardwick, Naomi Lawson Jacobs, Hannah Lewis, Fiona MacMillan, Emma Major, Chantal Noppen, Emily Richardson, Emma Swai, Krysia Waldock, Julia Watts-Belser and Sam Wells

Ethics Statement
We prioritise the voices & experience of disabled people as a majority of planners, speakers and delegates. This is because they are rarely heard in church contexts. We warmly welcome family, supporters and those with a professional or another interest. This is in keeping with our conference aim to be a place where disabled people can gather to resource each other & the church.
