Dear attendee,

We are emailing you today as you are registered for the Alzheimer’s Research UK Thames Valley Dementia Open Morning on Saturday 14 March 2020 at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

We have been monitoring the coronavirus/COVID-19 situation and UK Government and Public Health England guidance closely.

We are very mindful of our responsibility to support efforts to delay the spread of the virus across the UK and avoid putting anyone at risk by attending a large public event. The safety and wellbeing of our attendees, participants and staff is our number one priority.

Therefore, after careful consideration, it is with deep regret that we have decided to cancel the 2020 Alzheimer's Research UK Thames Valley Dementia Open Morning.

We apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment the cancellation of this year's Dementia Open Morning may cause. We hope to be able to reschedule the event later in the year, and will be in touch with plans as they are confirmed.

This annual public event is organised by the University of Oxford, as part of the Alzheimer’s Research UK Thames Valley network centre.

The morning of talks will include a break with complimentary refreshments and information stands from a number of relevant organisations for anyone with an interest in dementia.

The event is free and open to the public. Please register your attendance so that we have an idea of expected numbers for catering purposes.

Parking is available (hospital charges apply). Due to the event taking place at a weekend, parking is FREE in staff car parks only.
