What's in it for me?

Just like health and safety, your organisation has a legal, moral and financial obligation to ensure appropriate working practices within environmental management. The implementation of an environmental policy is essential for any responsible business.

Anna-Lisa will give an update about the Companies and Limited Liability Partnerships (Energy and Carbon Report) Regulations 2018 and the government’s policy on Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR). SECR makes carbon reporting a legal requirement for all large businesses.

This event will also provide you with an overview of your legal obligations and best practice to monitor the air quality within your working environment for employees and the general public.

Who should attend?

All Health, Safety and Environmental Professionals, Directors and Facilities Managers – particularly those directly involved in managing SECR and environment practices and their impact within their working environments.

What you need to know?

This is a free to attend meeting.

There are free car parking places in the adjacent Nissan car park. Click here for directions to the event. During the current construction work going on at Nissan, which has reduced the amount of normal car parking places, there are additional car parking places inside the perimeter fence of the Sports and Leisure Complex.
