Getting the most from Coaching and Mentoring
Nearly all successful entrepreneurs will tell a story of some influential person who helped them in their early career - either for some key piece of advice, being a sounding-board for ideas, helping them to avoid common pitfalls or just being someone to turn to in a crisis. These are often the qualities we expect from coaches or mentors. We can all benefit from the support of someone we trust to help us achieve our goals in business and life. However, choosing the right person, and getting the best from them, is key to developing a really productive relationship. At this BEN networking meeting we will be exploring the role of the coach/mentor and how to make it work for you.
Growth Accelerator is the new government-backed scheme to help support high-growth SMEs. This subsidised coaching programme will suit some businesses. It delivers a tailored service to help businesses build a growth plan and connect with the support needed to achieve it.
Mowgli takes a slightly different approach. Here trained mentors aim to inspire, support and empower business people to reach their potential, all with an added social and economic development, twist. We also have a view from someone who has been coached/mentored and found the experience useful to their business performance.
Please come to the Bristol & Bath Science Park for an evening of great networking with those who have an interest in the science and technology business community. You will get some fine Friska food and wine/soft drink included in the price.
