“When the peace treaty is signed, the war isn’t over for veterans, or the family. It’s just starting.” Karl Marlantes.
Coping with the transition from being a vital cog in your nation’s defence to an ordinary man or woman on the street is a challenge facing everyone who has served their country in the forces. Often, it is their families who bear the brunt of the strain. Military veterans and their families make up a fifth of the population - find out how Anglia Ruskin University is co-ordinating research and influencing policy to help make life better for our military heroes and the ones they love. Presented by Jamie Hacker-Hughes and Matt Fossey.
