The Industry Talks at King's are a series of talks created by the Department of Informatics at King's College London designed to help students future proof their careers after graduating. We have an impressive line-up of speakers from a number of industries including automotive, healthcare and tech giant Google.
The talks are delivered by experts in their fields who will share their experiences and help students develop an understanding of what employers expect from you.
Rich Walker, Managing Director of the Shadow Robot Company and Andy Hind of the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering will deliver the first 'Industry Talks at King's' of 2016. Our guests will give students an insight into the automative industry and transportation of the future.
Rich Walker joined the Shadow Robot Company in 1989 to write software for robots, and discovered the robots needed building first. He now leads the company through these exciting times for the robotics industry.
Andy Hind currently holds the position of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager Institute for Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering.
