Tuesday 14th April - Tool work - making bows and arrows, natural jewellery and much more

Wednesday 15th April - Edibles or Deadibles, Campfire Cooking - learning about foraging

Thursday 16th April - Forest School Games day and a re-cap of skills we have learnt

Our Forest School leaders aim to inspire the children, increase their confidence and, teach them new outdoor skills.

Forest School is a unique and empowering experience that children thrive from.

What's included/ what should we bring?

Snacks are included throughout the day. All children will need to bring a packed lunch, you are welcome to bring along extra snacks.

ALL children need to bring a water bottle - we have plenty of fresh water to top up bottles throughout the day.

Weather

At Forest School we believe there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing! Children should have a waterproof and wellies as well as layers and sun cream in the warmer months. We advise that everyone brings a change of dry clothes.

If it’s cold we will build a fire, if it’s wet we will build a shelter. We learn to adapt to our surroundings and learn survival skills. Our sessions are led by a fully qualified forest school leader who is also Bear Grylls trained.

Children with additional needs/requirements

If your child has additional educational/emotional/social/communication needs or has an education health plan, please contact us to discuss requirements before booking - kate@socialadventures.org.uk
