Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming Cascade workshop in Glasgow on Thursday 1st December 2016.
What is Cascade?
The Cascade initiative aims to support and empower cancer champions working in primary care to drive improvements in cancer control.
Why come to Cascade?
Cascade provides the opportunity to:
gain more insight into the national cancer agenda
learn about practical ways to prevent and diagnose cancer
hear from and meet academics and national leaders in cancer control
network with other cancer champions from other areas
discuss and share ideas for local improvement activities
Sessions are interactive including a mix of expert presentations and group discussion. They aim to provide the opportunity for idea development, supporting change and innovation.

This is a free event for anyone working in primary care who has a specific interest in or remit for cancer control.
The upcoming workshop in Glasgow
The upcoming workshop in Glasgow on Thursday 1st December will focus on cancer as a quality improvement topic, tools to support primary care to diagnose cancer earlier and the challenge of diagnosing cancer in specific populations. You will hear from national and local speakers, and the workshop will encourage networking, discussion and idea development including group work and interactive sessions.
