Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming Cascade workshop in Leeds on Thursday 11th May 2017.
What is Cascade?
The Cascade initiative aims to support and empower cancer champions working in primary care to drive improvements in cancer control.
Why come to Cascade?
Cascade provides the opportunity to:
gain more insight into the national cancer agenda
learn about practical ways to prevent and diagnose cancer
hear from and meet academics and national leaders in cancer control
network with other cancer champions from other areas
discuss and share ideas for local improvement activities
Sessions are interactive including a mix of expert presentations and group discussion. They aim to provide the opportunity for idea development, supporting change and innovation.
Who is this event suitable for?
This is a free event for anyone working in primary care in a leadership role who has a specific interest in or remit for cancer control. Previous attendees have included GPs, commissioners, cancer managers and individuals working in public health.
The event in Leeds will focus on diagnostics as well as updates on cancer prevention and early diagnosis issues. Speakers and agenda TBC.
