Description

Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming Cascade workshop in Exeter on Wednesday 19th June 2019.

What is Cascade?

The Cascade initiative aims to support and empower cancer champions working in primary and secondary care to drive improvements in cancer control.

Why come to Cascade?

Cascade provides the opportunity to:

  • learn about practical ways to prevent and diagnose cancer
  • hear from and meet academics and national leaders in cancer
  • network with cancer champions from other areas
  • discuss and share ideas for local improvement activities

Sessions are interactive including a mix of expert presentations and group discussion. They aim to provide the opportunity for idea development, supporting change and innovation.

The Exeter event will focus on sharing findings from FIT implementation pilots and vague symptoms pathway pilots and learning from lung cancer case studies and SEAs as well as further updates in the early diagnosis and prevention of cancer.

Who is this event suitable for?

This is a free event for anyone working in primary or secondary care with a specific interest in or remit for cancer control. Previous attendees have included GPs, commissioners, cancer managers and individuals working in public health.
