Cancer: exactly the wrong events, in exactly the wrong order

The hallmarks of cancer arise when healthy cell behaviour runs amok. Rare failures allow cells to misbehave, overcoming preventative built-in controls. Dr Ben Hall from the MRC Cancer Unit talks about how concepts from computer science can be designed to find these flaws and used to understand and treat cancers.
