Discover the ultimate Candle Crafting and dining experience with Aya Aromas and Rhythm Kitchen E17.

Embark on a candle making adventure where you get to make your own bespoke soy wax scented candle and keep it too! This is a great activity as a solo date or with friends/family.

On the day of the event, you'll be expertly guided by Aya Aromas in the art of crafting your personalized scented candle. While your candle takes shape, indulge in a delightful Caribbean Afternoon Tea featuring a tantalizing assortment of Caribbean treats that includes mango glazed jerk chicken wings, and saltfish fritters to name a few.

Each tea comes with a refreshing Wray and Nephew rum punch to complement your experience.

Candle scents to choose from:

  • Arabian Nights (Rose & Oud)
  • Cuban Dusk (Dark Honey & Tobacco)
  • Melanin Dreams (Cinnamon, Vanilla, Chocolate)
  • Lavender Fields (Fresh Linen and Lavender)
  • Coconut Sugar (Coconut, Sweet Rum, Pina Colada)
  • Tropical Haven (Lavender, Caribbean Fruits, Jasmine)
  • Warm Embrace (Rose, Grapefruit, Coconut)
  • Sunset Sweet (Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Fuschia)

We offer a limited number of single tickets for guests who prefer to attend the event solo. Please send an email to e17@rhythmkitchen.co (not com). Additionally, if you are planning a group reservation and would like to purchase individual fragrance tickets, please get in touch with us.

Please note it is important we start on time for the best experience of the workshop and the Caribbean afternoon tea.

About the facilitators,

Aya Aromas was founded in 2020 in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. We (Georgette & Sophinne) are sisters who both share an obsessive love for ethical home scents that are reminiscent of good times. We developed our scent range around childhood memories growing up in the UK and through family trips around Europe and Ghana.

Aya is an Adinkra symbol in Ghana meaning resourcefulness and endurance represented as a fern. We also plant a tree with every order placed as we believe in transforming indoor and outdoor spaces.

Greetings from Rhythm Kitchen.

We serve traditional wholesome Caribbean food, freshly prepared on site in E17 every day. The charcoal BBQ is at the centre of our cooking and brings out the best of our Jerk marinated meat and fish dishes. We also serve family favourites such as Curry Goat, Oxtail and Vegetable Rundown to complement our authentic Caribbean menu. We serve the food that we love and the food you love to eat. Come and join us and finish it off with a rum or a cocktail from our extensive range of rums from Islands of the Caribbean and beyond.
