Candle Making Workshop

Interested in making your very own scented soy candle? Join me — Juliana — founder of Juliana Made This Candle Co., for a Candle Making Workshop where I will guide you, step-by-step, through the fun process of creating your own bespoke, hand-poured soy candle.

Every attendee will be provided with the tools and materials to make their own candle at the workshop and given the opportunity to choose their own scent and colour from our specially curated library. A great, hands-on experience to share with your mum, your friends, or a treat for yourself.

To deliver this workshop, we have partnered with the amazing Boundary Brewery, to deliver a fun activity in a cool atmosphere where we will spend two hours relaxing, getting creative and enjoying a pint.

This is a lovely opportunity to spend 2h having fun and building memories with your friends, mammy or anybody you would like to bring with you!

No prior experience necessary.

Content:

You’ll be welcomed with a pint can of your choice from Boundary core collectio.

We will discuss scent and it's links with memory and nostalgia.

An introduction to soy wax, its benefits, and a discussion on the different types of wax within the industry.

We will discuss the different fragrance options, essential oils and fragrance oils.

You will be able to choose your own scent from our fragrance library.

We will cover the equipment needed for candle making.

You will be shown the step-by-step process of producing a container candle including measuring the correct quantities of wax, scents, and colour required.

You will assemble and hand pour your own container candle.

Discussion on how to fix ‘problems’ when making candles.

By the end of the workshop you will be able to make a soy wax container candle, there will also be time to ask questions.

Class Duration:

Class is typically two hours long but this depends on speed of participants. We advise allowing about two and a half hours to be on the safe side

Apron to protect your clothes during the class

Written instructions for further guidance

A pint can of one of Boundary core line
