About this event

Health • Yoga

October carries a unique energy—a moment of pause after the autumn equinox, when nature begins to slow down and we gently prepare ourselves before the busyness of the holiday season. It’s a time to ground, release what no longer serves us, and realign with the steadier rhythm of shorter days and longer nights. This Gong Bath is designed to support that shift, giving your body and mind the space to slow, soften, and restore.

We’ll begin the session with guided intention setting, followed by restorative breathwork and rhythmic drumming to release stagnant energy. You’ll then be immersed in 50 minutes of Gong therapy, moving through waves of sound at different intensities to support relaxation, help clear blockages, and activate the parasympathetic nervous system. Gong baths have been shown to ease anxiety, improve sleep, and reduce pain and inflammation, while guiding you into a deep meditative state.

Although the venue is supplying yoga mats, there is also a limited supply of eye masks, blankets and bolsters on a first come basis. To get the best from your experience, I recommend bringing your own small pillow and eye mask just in case they run out – you are also welcome to bring your own yoga mat and blanket too. The venue will be warm, however please remember to also bring socks, so that your feet are nice and cosy during the session.

You’ll find the venue in the area known as Gladstone Park in North West London, 4.7 miles north of Hyde Park Corner, bounded by Willesden Green to the west, Hampstead to the east, Brondesbury and Kilburn to the south and Staples Corner to the north.

There is some parking available with pay and display on the road but spaces are subject to availability – you can also use the JUST PARK app to help you find a space.

For transport nodes, the nearest train stations are as follows:-

  • Cricklewood Train Station (Thameslink) - 0.7 miles (13 minute walk)
  • Willesden Green Underground Station (Jubilee) - 1.0 miles (18 minute walk)
