A two part event, starting with an informative session celebrating natural Afro hairstyles and the history and resistance behind afro hairstyles. Whether this be the big and powerful afros of the black power movement, dreadlocks roots in spirituality, or routes to freedom canerowed in our hair.Part two will proceed with a hands on workshop for those wanting to learn how to canerow, ways to care and grow their hair.
