Rob is an Independent publisher and founder of Helter-Skelter Press. My 15-year practice is pinned on creating artefacts: works embodying their subject through content, form, material, and manner of their making. If my work is almost always doused in personal experience, I continue to find joy and headway by exposing such introspection to the collaborative process.
My most recent publication, Sublime, is a handmade retrospective of my ethnographic photography of the visual culture of Spanish & South American procession. The story of the relationships and experiences I found on location is embellished through material choice, construction, and a phenomenological approach to layout.
