Canvas Bootcamp 8-10 Sept: Get Ready for 25/26

Get your modules ready for Semester One with our Canvas Bootcamp training sessions! This series of online workshops aims to inspire and empower both new and experienced Canvas users, suitable for academic and professional services staff alike.

The Bootcamp falls within the week of our 'GenAI Fest' (8-12 Sept - more details to follow), so for this running we have condensed the content into three 2hr sessions:

  • Monday 8th September 2-4pm: Canvas Essentials incl. Canvas Mobile (online)
  • Tuesday 9th September 2-4pm: Canvas Learning Activities incl. Quizzes (online)
  • Wednesday 10th September 2-4pm: Canvas Assignments and Groupwork (online)

Please indicate which sessions you wish to attend on the form that appears following registration.

The mission of the Centre for Innovation in Education (CIE) is to support innovation in learning, teaching and assessment through enhanced curriculum development. We encourage and guide academic staff within programme teams to innovate in: teaching, learning and assessment; and critically consider the use of digital tools and educational technology as part of a holistic curriculum design process.

We will work in partnership with academics and students to review and refresh our curricula and create a distinctive offer, whilst supporting colleagues to develop new and innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programmes informed by the needs of a range of stakeholders.We will enable staff to deliver stimulating teaching leading to the highest possible levels of student learning and satisfaction, investing in resources to support continuous innovation.
