Capital Appeals Training
Event Information
About this Event
In partnership with Action Planning, our aim is to equip your church leaders with effective practical solutions for your capital appeal projects and discover how to respond to a significant fundraising challenge that is well beyond the church’s ‘normal’ levels of income.
Every once in a while, a church has to find a way of funding a major project, far outside the scope of its regular giving. This may be a substantial repair; it may be a re-ordering of the inside of the church, or the installation of much needed facilities such as toilets or a kitchen. And sometimes it is even larger – like a new extension or even a whole new church building!
Such projects require very careful planning – not just for the actual works, but for how the works will be funded.
