Dave Watt (aka Captain Breadbeard) hosts his monthly alternative stand-up comedy night in the heart of Canterbury.August's special guests includeRavi HolyVicar of Wye in Kent by day and a stand-up comedian by night. In 2016, he was a semi-finalist in So You Think You're Funny? and won the Canterbury Festival's comedy competition. He was also voted Funniest Vicar in a competition judged by the four Inbetweeners after performing live on The One Show (although, to be fair there were only two other entrants!) In 2019, he did an Edinburgh show with two other vicar/comedians called White Collar Comedy which was nominated as one of the ten best show titles by chortle.co.uk.
