Event description

Description

CAPTURED is Newcastle University Business School’s innovative business support programme.

Partnering experienced managers from the region’s larger private sector organisations with new and emerging small businesses, CAPTURED helps small firms to develop the leadership and management skills required to develop their business.

Open to companies in the North East LEP area (Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham, Sunderland and Northumberland), with fewer than 20 employees, CAPTURED provides tailored support from facilitators and senior managers at some of the region’s biggest firms, including Siemens, GSK and Sage.

A spokesperson for Siemens said: "Siemens is passionate about helping new businesses to reach their potential. Siemens itself started off as a small engineering business run by two brothers. Today, it's a global business with more than 400,000 employees. Anything is possible with the right support. We’re delighted to be involved with this project and hope it will help shape the business leaders of the future."

Following a successful pilot phase, CAPTURED 2018 launches on 27 November with a special event at Newcastle University Business School.

Meet with and hear from previous participants and supporters of the CAPTURED programme over a glass of wine and a few nibbles.
