The complex nature of biodiversity means it is difficult to measure, let alone finance. Many approaches to data capture have been developed using techniques ranging from collecting environmental DNA to processing satellite images.

Whilst such metrics have been used by scientists for many decades, there is increasing interest in how they could underpin the establishment of biodiversity credits or units.

Taking place on Tuesday 16th May, this event will focus on best practices for measuring biodiversity and how biodiversity impact can be funded through ecosystem assets markets.
