Capturing Our Coast: Volunteer Training Day, Margate, Kent
This is a brilliant opportunity to join the largest marine citizen science project ever started in the UK.
The ‘CoCoast’ training session will enable you to be equipped for recording your chosen small set of marine wildlife – so you can survey for them at your own bay or stretch of coastline at low tide, or on different sites around the coast in your own time. The day will comprise of indoor training - ending with a short practical session out on the chalk reef of the Thanet Coast nearby. Places are limited - so on a first come, first served basis! 'Capturing Our Coast' is run with support by the Heritage Lottery Fund. www.capturingourcoast.co.uk
