Description

SFEF and Meaningful Conversations for the child and adult

The Supporting Families Enhancing Futures (SFEF) model is the agreed multi-agency model used in Wirral for working with children, young people and their families across the continuum of need. The model is designed to improve child centred practice and engagement with parents and carers leading to outcome focused and effective plans.

Central to the SFEF approach is gaining insight into the daily lived experience of each child in the family to help us to understand their world and learn about the needs that are or are not being met. To ensure we capture all aspects of family life we also need to gain insight into the parents and carers daily lived experience.

This presentation will cover:

· Capturing the daily lived experience of the child

· Capturing the daily lived experience of the adult

· Using the information gathered to complete the picture and inform analysis
