Description

The ever popular Tom Duncan returns to delight us with a lecture on Caravaggio. Light, darkness and drama are the qualities most associated with his revolutionary work. This lecture will focus on the life, work and influence of this most troubled of painterly geniuses. It will follow his career from Milan to Rome in the 1590s and on to Naples, Malta, Sicily and his mysterious death in 1610.

Coffee at 10am, lecture 10.30 - noon, followed by a complimentary glass of wine
