About this event

Welcome to the Carbon-Black Ink Making and Drawing Workshop

Join us on Sat 29th November 2025 at 10:00 AM for a hands-on experience in creating your own carbon-black ink. This workshop will take place at SILT, Unit 6 St Georges Works, Silver Street, Trowbridge, UK.

Learn the art of traditional Carbon-black ink making using naturally made charcoal and other carbonised materials and take home your unique creations. Get ready to get your hands dirty and unleash your creativity!

Get your art materials prepared for the new year by grinding, mulling and adding carbonised ingredients to turn it into ink. We'll then make intuitive drawings for the upcoming seasonal celebrations. You will take home, art work, charcoal and a bottle of ink to use in your own studio.

Spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot soon. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to explore the world of carbon based ink making!
